I’ve spent less than 24 hours in New York in my life, partly because I’ve only been there twice, and mostly because I have a fairly short window of time in large cities before the urge to go sit in the middle of a field in Montana while practicing Lamaze breathing kicks in with rapidly increasing intensity.
Random fact.
The few hours I lingered there this time were spent walking around Brooklyn with Samantha and Ben, taking in the views, shooting too many panoramas, and finally ending up watching the sun disappear behind the Statue of Liberty from the Harbor View Lawn. (Where I shot more panoramas.)
Side note, it’s a really pretty spot to catch the sunset from, should you ever have the chance.
Sincere thanks to Samantha and Ben for giving me the chance to hang out in Brooklyn for a hot minute, and to New York City for the amazing views, fantastic pizza, and the ridiculously overpriced parking ticket. #blessed
