This wedding.

Where do I even start…

Erin and Andy have been friends of mine for ages. Whether hanging out with Andy on the boat and fishing, or working weddings with Erin who runs the Destin Bay House, they’re amazing people to be around and I love them both dearly.

I love the Destin Bay House. As with any brides of mine that ask, getting to work with Erin is absolutely fantastic. When you add in Vaughn VanAmburg as the DJ, and Heyward McKenzie with Culinary Catering 365, the clouds part, the angels sing, and unicorns prance across fields of sunlight and vintage furniture and……ok. Maybe not so much that part, but it’s an absolutely amazing group of people to work with. I made it all the way to hanging out with Erin and Andy on the dock when we were doing portraits by ourselves before the tears showed up. It’s a crazy and humbling thing to be able to shoot the wedding of one of your best friends.

Sincere thanks to Vaughn VanAmburg for rocking the party as always. You, sir, are hands down one of the very best DJ’s I’ve ever had the honor of working with in 10 years of this craziness. Thanks to Heyward McKenzie with Culinary Catering 365. Your extreme sexiness is outdone only by the quality of your incredible food. Thanks for keeping me fat. To Florals by the Sea for stunning bouquets and decor for this event. Absolutely gorgeous, my friends. To Sweet for Sirten for an equally beautiful and delicious cake, which I can neither confirm nor deny how much of it I actually consumed. To the fantastic and ever classy Reverend Kim Cannon who did the officiating of this shindig. Always a pleasure to work with you, sir.  To my dear friend Kacie Quesenberry for making the hike all the way from Montana to hang out and shoot this with me. You’re a badass photographer, my friend.

And lastly, to Erin and Andy. Thanks for letting me shoot your wedding. Thanks for being great friends. I’m still sorry I burned the chicken the last time I made you dinner.

It was probably the vodka.

PS. Dear Andy, I’m sorry I asked your best man what the capital of Thailand was right before I took your group photo. I didn’t know he’d actually do it. #yolo
